Nashville SC will be hosting open tryouts for the upcoming 2018 USL season.
“For all competitive and aspiring soccer players, this is a fabulous opportunity,” said Nashville SC head coach Gary Smith. “As we finish building out our roster, we want local Nashville players to show their individual ability and earn a professional contract.”
For $110, participants can undergo a training session with the Nashville SC technical department on January 13th or 20th with the potential to earn a contract with the club, or be asked to train with the team in the future. After the Saturday training session, the best players will be asked to come back on Sunday to show what they can do in 11 v 11 scrimmages.
Each tryout will begin at 1 p.m., and will be held in the Nashville area at a location to be announced. If a participant is invited to come back on the next day to get a closer look by the staff, that tryout will begin at 11 a.m. Participants can only register for one session.
Players will be expected to show up to the field ready to play. Nashville SC will provide the soccer balls and the water, but players need to come ready with any other equipment necessary.
January 13th & 20th, 2018
Nashville SC was founded on a belief that the community would be heavily involved in the club, giving birth to the team’s motto “Our Town, Our Club.” That will again be put into practice in January with locals, from former professionals to those looking to fulfill a dream, getting the chance to try out for Nashville’s professional soccer team.
